Complaining about the Weather

Hi just a small posting to complain about the Weather here in Cheltenham still haven't had a chance to move out of my room and try some real life drawing...

Also very busy with uni work as well :(

Sure there be some new art work soon.

Lots of things

Hey... Kinda of busy weekend but between going out and doing uni work I managed to get some time to do some art as well.

First I started of with an adventurous scene...




I like this picture is it included a mixture of things I have been getting better at inc Building, Trees and general landscape.

Next I thought I might try drawing some birds well a parrot to be précised




I don't seem to be taking to drawing animals or people very well. So I went back to a few more landscapes.







The picture above is a big steep as this was not copied from a book as it was totally made up by me. Its a picture of a semi detached house with there front gardens backing on to a river.

Then I went back to doing some bits and pieces so I can start to add things to my pictures.




Again not my greatest art work I think the horse is OK just the lags and back end needs working on.

My First A4 Pictures

OK so its been nearly a mouth but I've had Easter and my birthday just have got around to doing any but was looking thought my book and saw how cool I thought the pictures look so I done some more. Did a few smaller ones but gave them to a friend. Then I went on to do some full size A4 drawing which went really well. Still copying out of the how to draw book but never the less very good I think. Hope you like them.

Rocks and Animals

Ok the next day and doing more things... First I start again with rock to help my shading out.




Also tried drawing a sheap which was really kinda hard but turned out well.

Busy Time Away

Yep sorry haven't done much on the art side been really busy :(

Just did a few more tree's.




I also did some work on my shading by trying some more bushes.

Something more than just trees

Hey... Second day at drawing sure I won't keep this up but hey board in bed so I thought I would continue.

First I draw some more tree's looking back at the ones I did yesterday I really was very please them. Here the two I did today.




As the title suggest I then moved on to something else from the book which looks rather ambitious but hey the trees went well so I thought I might try them... As I hope you can see I choose to move onto bridges.

My First Art - Trees

Ok so this really wasn't my first pictures in my book but they were done just in pencil and hard to scan in a look at all good. I was trying to do whole A4 pictures which just really didn't work. Plus I now have ink pens which make it a lot easier and cleaner.

OK so my first subject is trees as they seemed fairly easy and some thing fun to draw. Take a look below. All these are copied out of the book I am using.




As you can see I think these aren't a bad attempt really. I also had a go at drawing a bush as well.
